Hyundai is testing the Exter facelift in India and South Korea, this is a mid-cycle update for the small SUV, which is popular among city drivers and small families. - Exterior: Camouflaged prototypes spotlight a redesigned front with a wider grille, sleeker LED headlamps and a bumper echoing the 8th-gen Sonata's aggressive lines. Rear gets tweaked tail lamps, a restyled bumper and minor hatch revisions. New black-finished alloy wheels add flair, while the side profile remains unchanged for familiarity.
- Interior: A more upscale cabin with dual-tone trims, improved materials and a Venue-inspired 'Four Dots' steering wheel. The highlight is a seamless curvilinear display merging larger infotainment (over 10.25 inches) and driver's cluster screens.
Expected Price in India
The current Verna ranges from Rs 10.79 lakh to Rs 17.13 lakh (ex-showroom). The facelift could see a Rs 50,000–1 lakh premium for the upgrades, landing between Rs 11 lakh and Rs 18 lakh. On-road in Kolkata (near West Bengal) might add Rs 1–1.5 lakh for taxes and registration, pushing totals to Rs 12–19.5 lakh. EMIs could start at Rs 20,000/month for base variants via Hyundai Finance.
